Leave Zurich for an unforgettable alpine adventure at Mount Pilatus, between lake, mountain and breathtaking panorama!
Your day will start in Zurich, where you'll board a comfortable coach bound for Lucerne. Along the way, you'll pass through the verdant landscapes of central Switzerland, skirting the shores of Lake Lucerne until you reach your first stop.
In Lucerne, you'll embark on a soothing cruise on the sparkling waters of the lake towards Alpnachstad, accompanied by your guide. This crossing will be an opportunity to discover the region from another angle, between picturesque villages and Alpine peaks, while enjoying your guide's commentary and anecdotes.
Arriving in Alpnachstad, you'll experience one of the most impressive stages of the excursion: the ascent of Mount Pilatus on board the steepest cogwheel train in the world. With a gradient of up to 48%, this spectacular journey takes you to the summit at 2,132 meters above sea level. Your guide will tell you all about the site's legends and geography, while you explore the surrounding area at your leisure. You can stroll along the trails, observe the surrounding peaks or take a break on the panoramic terrace.
The descent is a gentle one aboard the "Dragon Ride" cable car, offering a bird's-eye view of the valley.
At Fräkmüntegg, you can extend the experience by taking advantage of outdoor activities, such as summer tobogganing (extra charge), before continuing your descent by gondola to Kriens.
Finally, you'll meet your coach for a comfortable return to Zurich, with your eyes full of memories.
