Discover Paklenica National Park and hike through the impressive landscapes of the Velebit mountains on this nature excursion from Zadar!

You'll meet your guide and leave Zadar bound for Paklenica National Park, located in the heart of the Velebit massif, Croatia's biggest mountain range (you will hike 490m). 

On arrival in the park, you'll begin your hike on the trails of the Velika Paklenica canyon. You'll progress through unspoilt nature consisting of limestone cliffs, pine forests and mountain streams. The park is renowned for its wild landscapes and biodiversity.

Accompanied by your guide, you'll discover the geological and natural features of the national park. You'll observe the impressive rock walls of the canyon that make Paklenica a renowned site for climbing and hiking. Your guide will also share with you information about the local flora and fauna.

As you hike, you'll enjoy several viewpoints of the Velebit mountains and, on a clear day, the Adriatic Sea in the distance. The hike will allow you to explore various trails in the park and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere of this protected natural site.

Pauses will be provided during the hike to enjoy the scenery and regain your strength.

At the end of your excursion, you will leave the national park and take the road back to Zadar, where you will be dropped off at the end of the activity.
