Description

Spend a day in the life of an emperor or an empress at the residences of the imperial family!

Discover the former property and residence of the Hasburg Monarchy: Schönbrunn Palace. Walk through the castle to marvel at the collection of imperial furniture in what used to be the summer residence of Sissi and Franz Joseph. Then, discover Hofburg Palace with its collection of silverware and the private quarters of Empress Sissi! Take advantage of recorded commentary while you explore the grounds at your own pace, enjoying detailed information about he  different rooms and galleries you visit.

You will then enjoy a romantic dinner served in the former kitchens of Schönbrunn Castle, which retain their authenticity despite the many renovations and reincarnations!

End this beautiful day by attending a classical concert performed by the Palace Orchestra. You will be allotted the best available seats in your category. Discover the former Palace Orangery transformed into a world of princes and princesses, while you listen to and admire the show!

  1. April to June, September & October: 8:30am to 5:30pm
  2. July & August: 8:30am to 6:30pm
  3. November to March: 8:30am to 5pm
  • Sissi Museum and Silverware Collection opening hours
  1. August to May: 9am to 5:30pm
  2. June and July: 9am to 6pm
  • Please note: The Imperial Furniture Collection is closed on Mondays
  • It is recommended to begin your tour by 3pm to give you enough time for the visits
  • The opening times of the Imperial Apartments, the Sissi Museum and the silverware collection: open everyday from 9am to 5:30pm, from June to July from 9am to 6pm
  • Visits to different museums are as you please, thanks to the audioguide
  • Until 31 March 2019 the concert will be held in the 'White and Gold' room, situated inside the castle: no ballets will be taking place during this period and the VIP category won't be available
  • In April, the concert will be held in the Grand Galerie which is also inside the castle: no ballets will be taking place in April either
  • In May onwards, the concert will be held on the Orangerie
