Explore the Austrian capital and its monuments with your bus pass. The bus will make frequent stops throughout its itinerary near the city’s must-see sites and monuments. You are free to get off the bus at any point to explore Vienna at length and get back on whenever you wish.

When you book, you will be asked to choose your pass: 

  • Classic Pass: Access to red and blue routes +Pass valid for 1 day

  • Premium Pass: Access to all routes + Pass valid for 2 days + 1 free guided walking tour

  • Deluxe Pass: Access to all route + Pass valid for 3 days + 1 free guided walking tour + 1 cruise + 1 evening walking tour

 

Good to know

  • Availability: Every day (excluding exceptional dates)
     
  • When booking you will be asked to select a date for your visit. Please note however that your voucher will be valid for 1 week starting from the selected date. 
  • Dogs are admitted onboard only if they are leashed and of small size. Only one dog per bus is admitted
  • When you board the Big Bus, you will receive a small booklet with all of the discounts and other offers available in sites across the city
  • The bus is equipped with Wi-Fi
     
  • The Red Route brings you to the city centre and to Danube Island where you can visit several attractions including the Mozart Museum, Albertina Museum and the Palace and Church of St. Charles
  • Time: From 9:30am to 5:30pm in summer and from 9:30am to 4pm in winter
  • Duration: 2 hour and 30 minutes 
  • Frequency: the bus runs every 30/45 minutes 
     
  • The Blue Route takes you to the magnificent Schönbrunn Palace, the former residence of Austria’s imperial family. This itinerary will also take you to Belvedere Palace and the Hofburg Palace
  • Times: from 9:30am to 5:30pm in summer and from 9:45am to 4:15pm in winter
  • Duration: 2 hour and 30 minutes
  • Frequency: the bus runs every 30/45 minutes 
     
  • The guided walking tour begins at the 'Opera' stop and finishes at St Stephen's Cathedral
  • Times: 11:30am every day 
  • Duration: Between 60 and 90 minutes
  • Language: English

 

  • The cruise departs from Schwedenplatz for Reichsbrucke (stop 15) (Route A); from Reichsbrucke to Schwedenplatz (stop 10) (Route B); or from Schwedenplatz to Schwedenplatz (Route C)
  • Time: See the time table below
  • Duration: 115 minutes for Route A, 110 minutes for Route B, and 75 minutes for Route C

 

  • The guided evening walking tour begins at the 'Opera' stop 
  • Times: 6:30pm every day 
  • Duration: 60 minutes
  • Language: English (audioguide available in 13 languages

 

  • Vaccination pass is necessary to participate.
