You'll be picked up from your hotel in Ljubljana in the early morning and set off on a 245 km drive to Venice. On arrival, you'll meet up with your local guide to begin your exploration of the "City of the Doge".
You'll begin your guided tour with Venice's must-sees: St. Mark's Square, St. Mark's Basilica and the Doge's Palace. You'll enjoy your private guide's explanations and anecdotes along the way.
You'll then take a vaporetto, Venice's typical bus boat, to navigate the Grand Canal and discover the city from the water. You'll admire the colorful facades, Venetian palaces and iconic bridges such as the Rialto Bridge.
Your guide will tailor the tour to your whims: you can explore less-frequented neighborhoods such as Cannaregio or Dorsoduro, or take a break at a local café.
