  • Arrival point: the tour ends at Dogana Gondola Station, near Piazza San Marco
  • In the rare and exceptional event that Saint Mark's Basilica is closed on the day of your visit, a full tour of the building's exterior will be conducted instead
  • Comfortable walking shoes recommended
  • Please note that large bags, tripods and non-collapsible umbrellas are not permitted in Saint Mark's Basilica and must be left in lockers, which may cause delays to your visit
  • Out of respect for the religious nature of the sites, participants are asked not to wear flip-flops, shorts, skirts falling above the knee, sleeveless tops and any other innapropriate clothing
  • Please note that this tour is not suitable for persons using a wheelchair or a pushchair
  • Sun protection: certain sites visited may be very hot and lacking in shade. You are advised to bring a hat, sun cream, and a bottle of water
  • In order to make the most of your guide's commentary, you will be provided with headphones
  • The gondola tour lasts approximately 30 minutes
