Explore Trinidad on foot and enjoy the city's must-see sights!
Founded in 1514, Trinidad is packed with wonders and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is one of Cuba's most authentic colonial towns thanks to its architectural heritage dating back to the 18th century.
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel / accommodation and you will follow them through the town's cobbled streets and pastel-coloured colonial mansions.
You will pass through the town's squares: Plaza Mayor, the most important as it is in the heart of the historic centre; Plaza Carrillo, more modern and more provincial as this is where the locals meet; Plaza Santa Ana with its charming ruined church.
You can also visit Trinidad's main church, the Holy Trinity. Its construction took over 70 years, which explains the building's different architectural styles; boasting 5 naves, it is one of the largest churches in Cuba.
You will then have the opportunity to visit one of the museums in the city, depending on the day chosen for your excursion: Palacio Cantero, Museo Romantico, Museo Arqueológico or the Museum of the Struggle against Bandits.
You'll also have time to experience a ceramics and painting workshop where you can watch craftsmen as they work.
Finally, to finish your visit, you'll make a stop at the Canchánchara, to taste the drink of the same name, typical of Trinidad.
