Admire Madrid and Toledo's major landmarks on a guided one-day tour!

You'll start your morning tour of Madrid with a guided walk through the city centre.

Accompanied by your guide you'll walk through the Plaza de la Villa, the Plaza Mayor, a main square that's lined with shops, and the historic Puerta del Sol square. You'll then arrive at the Plaza del Oriente, famous for its vast garden surrounded by royal statues.

You'll then board a bus to tour the rest of the city. Afterwards, you'll head to Puerta Toledo, home to buildings that date back to the Napoleonic era. You'll go along the Manzanares River, where you can admire the Royal Palaceand the Almudena Cathedral. The bus will then take you to Gran Via, one of Madrid's liveliest avenues, with its many shops and restaurants. You'll see the Cibeles fountain, a gathering place for Real Madrid fans who come here to celebrate their club's victories. You'll pass by the Puerta de Alcala, the best-known of Madrid's five ancient main gates.

As you drive along the Paseo de la Castellana, you'll catch a glimpse of the Santiago Barnabéu stadium, home to Real Madrid players, and Columbus Square created in memory of the famous explorer.

In the early afternoon, you'll leave by coach for Toledo, a UNESCO World Heritage city. The former capital of Spain, Toledo is a cultural melting pot with Arab, Jewish and Christian influences.

You'll explore the city in the company of your guide and admire the court cloisters and royal coat of arms at the San Juan de Los Reyes monastery. The building was once a would-be mausoleum for Catholic Monarchs.

You'll then go to the Santa Maria la Blanca Synagogue, which is now a "Mudejar" (Arabic) style museum that you'll be able to visit. The tour continues with the Church of Santo Tomé where you can admire Greco's "The Burial of the Count of Orgaz".

You'll then continue onto the cathedral, where you can admire the facade of one of the most important Gothic cathedrals in Spain.

After this, you'll have some free time to continue exploring Toledo on your own before returning to Madrid.
