Wear a kimono, the famous traditional Japanese dress! 

Departing from your hotel a guide will take you by train to the district of Asakusa.

Once there, you will choose your kimono or yukata, depending on the season, and learn how to wear this traditional Japanese garment.

You will then go for a walk in the streets of Asakusa wearing a kimono, like a real Japanese person!

  • A shuttle will collect you from the departure point at the time shown on your booking voucher
  • If you are leaving from the main meeting point, please arrive 20 minutes before the departure time
  • If you have chosen to be collected from your hotel for the tour, please be ready to leave 10 minutes before the departure time
  • A short journey via public transport is required for this activity
  • Tickets for the train journey from Hamamatsucho do not include seat reservations. During very busy periods there may not be any seats available
  • Between June and September you will be offered a yukata (summer kimono)
  • A minimum of 2 people are required to book this activity
  • The activity ends in Asakusa after your walk in kimono. The return journey to Hamamatsucho is not included
  • In the event of rain, the kimono walk will be be maintained
  • Please bring a t-shirt, trousers, leggings or tights and a pair of socks to wear under your kimono
  • Children under 6 years of the age cannot take part in this activity
  • When booking you will be asked to provide your gender, height and dress size so a selection of kimonos can be prepared for you
  • If you do not know the size of all participants, you must call the number indicted on your booking voucher at least 3 days before the activity date to provide this information, failure to do so will result in cancellation of your activity
Cancellation Terms & Conditions

No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.
