Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo
Upon arrival at Tokyo Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel by shared shuttle. Collect your Pocket WiFi at the reception to stay connected throughout your trip.

Day 2: Tokyo
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.
Suggested visits: begin your discovery of Tokyo with the famous Meiji Shrine, then stroll along Takeshita Street, well known for its quirky little shops. Continue along Omotesando Avenue to admire its architecture or enjoy some shopping in Shibuya, the heart of Tokyo’s fashion scene.
Overnight in Tokyo.

Day 3: Tokyo

Suggested visits: explore the traditional districts of Asakusa and Ueno, home to the beautiful Senso-ji Temple and Sumida Park, then continue to Yanaka, often called “Old Tokyo.”
If electronics and manga spark your interest, head to Akihabara, a major hub of Japanese pop culture, video games and cosplay.

Day 4: Tokyo – Hakone
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel to Hakone by train from Tokyo Station (change in Odawara).

Suggested visits: discover the famous Korakuen Garden, considered one of the most beautiful in Japan, located near Okayama Castle. Ponds, small hills and pavilions create a peaceful and harmonious setting.
Nearby, Naoshima Island — a true open-air museum dedicated to contemporary art — makes for an excellent excursion. Explore the island by bike to admire its artworks, museums and unique architecture while enjoying the seaside scenery.

Day 7: Okayama – Hiroshima
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by train to Hiroshima using your Kansai Hiroshima Pass. Free day.
Suggested visits: explore the Peace Memorial Park and Peace Museum to better understand the city’s history and its universal message. You may also stroll through Shukkei-en Garden or around Ikari Shrine, both ideal for quiet contemplation.
Overnight in Hiroshima.

Day 8: Hiroshima
Breakfast at the hotel. Free day.
Suggested visits: take a ferry to Miyajima Island and discover the famous floating torii gate of Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A must-see stop combining spirituality and seascapes.

Day 9: Hiroshima – Kyoto
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel by train to Kyoto. Free day.
Suggested visits: enjoy a peaceful walk through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and visit Tenryu-ji Temple. Continue with the Golden Pavilion, Kinkaku-ji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Suggested visits: head to the magnificent Fushimi Inari Shrine with its thousands of red torii gates. Visit nearby Tofuku-ji Temple and its gardens. Explore southern Higashiyama to discover Kiyomizu-dera, Maruyama Park and Chion-in Temple. Further north, don’t miss the famous Nanzen-ji Temple.

Day 11: Kyoto

Suggested visits: stroll through Gion, famous for its geishas, then visit Nishiki Market, known for its size and variety of local products. Discover Nijo Castle and its famous “nightingale floors.”

Day 12: Kyoto / Osaka / Return home

Shared shuttle transfer to Osaka Airport for your return flight.

Accommodation capacity :

  • All specific requests for sleeping arrangements (double/separate beds) are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.
  • For technical reasons, hotels may be replaced by similar accommodation and tour stops may be reversed.
  • In Japan, hotel rooms are often quite narrow and beds small. Check-in is usually mid-afternoon (3pm-4pm).
  • Please note that some hotels provide an eco-stay package. (Bed linen and room cleaning are done every 3 days or so, depending on the hotel).

  • In the event of late arrival or early departure on the first or last day due to airline schedules, no refund will be made. Similarly, any meals included in the package that cannot be taken due to these schedules cannot be reimbursed. Also, depending on the timetable of any optional extras and excursions, meals that cannot be taken at the hotel will be charged to the customer.
     

Transportation :

  • Shuttle transfer Tokyo airport - hotel - Kansai airport (KIX) or Itami airport (ITM): 
    The transfer is by shared shuttle. The shuttle drops you off in front of your hotel and can make several stops along the way. On the return transfer, the shuttle drops you off at the airport, and may make several stops along the way. 1 piece of luggage per person included; in the event of additional luggage, please contact us before departure. In Kyoto, this service is subject to departure from Kansai (KIX) or Itami (ITM) airport between 10am and 2am. If you return from Kobe airport (UKB), transfers will be at your expense.
  • Kansai Hiroshima Area Pass:
    The train is probably one of the most convenient and fast means of transport in Japan. The well-developed rail network gives you easy access to the country's main points of interest. Your pass is valid for 5 days and gives you access to all JR rail trains, as well as JR buses, some express lines (excluding express buses) and JR ferries.
  • Hakone Free Pass:
    This pass allows you to travel from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo to Hakone on the Odakyu Line.
    After changing trains at Odawara, continue on to Hakone and enjoy unlimited access to local transportation networks, including Hakone Tozan buses, Hakone Tozan ropeways, the Lake Ashi sightseeing cruise, and the Hakone funicular, among others.
    You will also benefit from discounts on admission to certain tourist sites.
  • Odawara (Hakone) – Okayama train:
    In Japan, the train is undoubtedly one of the most convenient and efficient ways to travel. Okayama is approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes from Odawara. Your Hakone Free Pass allows you to first reach Odawara Station, where you will then connect to your train bound for Okayama.
    Please note that train schedules will be provided in your travel documents.
