Description

Leave Tokyo for the day and visit Mount Fuji! 

Departing from your hotel, a shuttle will collect you to take you to Mount Fuji! Discover this sacred mountain, a symbol of Japan, which rises to 3,776 m. Climb the slopes of Mount Fuji to the 5th Station, while sitting comfortably on the bus.

After a partial ascent of Mount Fuji, enjoy a Japanese lunch (optional) before a cruise on Lake Ashi. Admire the exceptional panoramic views of Mt Fuji from the water. Once back on dry land, fly through the air and admire views of the area from the Komaganetake cable car which takes you nearly 2 km.

Back down on earth we'll catch the bus to return back to Tokyo in the evening!

  • A shuttle will come and collect you at the tour departure point at the time shown on your booking voucher.
  • If you are meeting the tour from the main departure point, please arrive 20 minutes before the start of the activity.
  • If you have chosen to be collected from your hotel for the tour, please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the activity.
  • We recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
  • The temperature can fall quickly when climbing Mount Fuji, we recommend that you bring warm clothes in winter.
  • The English-speaking guide will accompany you from the departure of the tour in Hamamatsucho to the Odawara station
  • If requested at time of booking, a Chinese or Spanish audio guide will be provided for the visit to Mount Fuji.
  • The journey from Tokyo to Mount Fuji by bus takes approximately 2 hours.
  • The bus journey time may vary depending on traffic.
  • The lunch menu is not planned in advance and you will be informed of it on the day of your activity.
  • The tour ends at Ginza or Shinjuku

Cancellation Terms & Conditions

No charges will be levied for cancellations made more than 7 days before the date of the activity (excluding special dates). After this, the following charges will be levied:
Between 7 and 4 days prior: 50% of the price
After this time and in case of a no-show: 100% of the price
Any reservation made for special dates cannot be cancelled, modified or refunded.

  • The tour was well organised, but unfortunately we had rain and fog all day, so we did not see the Mount Fuji....

  • J'étais descendu dans un hôtel à Ueno. Aucun hôtel à Ueno ne figurait dans la liste des endroits pour le ramassage. Mais ce n'est pas grave car j'ai pu trouver mon chemin jusqu'à Hamamatsucho, le point de départ principal. Le plan d'accès est bien fait, le personnel de Sunrise était à l'affût au bas des escaliers pour la prise en charge. La météo ne se commande pas et malheureusement il a plu. Les prévisions sont incertaines et avec la réservation obligatoire au moins 4 jours à l'avance il est difficile d'être sûr d'avoir du beau temps. Le guide qui, de son propre aveu a longtemps étudié l'anglais, était difficile à comprendre. Le programme dans son ensemble est intéressant, le rythme soutenu. Toutefois, ce tour ne devrait pas être recommandé aux jeunes parents accompagnés de très jeunes enfants. Pour ces derniers la journée est interminable, ils s'impatientent, le font savoir bruyamment ce qui indispose les 30 autres personnes dans le bus. Vraiment désagréable.
