Explore Anaga National Park by hiking in Tenerife!
Your guide will pick you up at the hotel. Once settled in the comfortable minivan, you will head North to reach Anaga National Park, between the moutnains and the forest. Along the way, pass by Laguna village, the oldest village on the island, which is also parts of UNESCO's heritage list.
Once at Anaga, take a 2 hour long hike to discover this immense forest. Weave between trees and discover the park's riches and biodiversity: more than 2,000 species of reptiles, insects, birds, and fish have lived here for millions of years!
From the top of the mountain, enjoy a panoramic view of Tenerife, notably Mount Teide. Next, head down to Chinamada village, where the houses are built into the rocks. You will have lunch in one of these house caves. Lunch consits of traditional food such as "ropa vieja", "papas arrugadas" and goat cheese.
After lunch, you will be taken back to your hotel.
