Day 1: Taipei－Sun Moon Lake
You will be picked up at your hotel in the morning, you will depart from central Taipei and travel to the heart of the island, Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area. Sun Moon Lake is the largest freshwater lake on the island, and is one of Taiwan's premier destinations. You'll go around the island by bus to discover its most renowned attractions : Ita Thao indigenous village, Ci'en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple and Wenwu Temple. You will stay overnight at a hotel in Sun Moon Lake or nearby Taichung.
Day 2: Sun Moon Lake－Tainan－Fo Guang Shan－Kaohsiung
After breakfast, you'll hop on the bus and make your way to Tainan, the oldest city in Taiwan, celebrated for its historical heritage. Your adventure proceeds with a visit to Fort Zeelandia, constructed by the Dutch East India Company during the 17th century. Then, take a leisurely walk along Anping Old Street: situated on the east side of Fort Zeelandia, it's known for its local specialties. After lunch, your next destination is the romantic harbor city of Kaohsiung, the most populous city in Southern Taiwan. Upon arriving in Kaohsiung, your first stop is the renowned Fo Guang Shan Monastery, which features a 36-meter golden statue of Buddha. Tonight you will stay at a hotel in downtown Kaohsiung.
Day 3: Kaohsiung－Kenting National Park－Taitung
On day 3, set out on your journey as you head south toward, where Taiwan’s first national park awaits. Kenting National Park is celebrated for its coastal geological formations, scenic landscapes, and rich marine biodiversity. You will visit sites likes Maopitou, Chuanfan Rock, Eluanpi Lighthouse, and Longpan Park, a coral limestone plateau overlooking the Pacific Ocean, shaped over time by rainfall erosion. Following your exploration of Kenting National Park, your journey will take you to Taitung via the scenic South Link Highway, allowing you to savor the continually shifting landscapes throughout your drive. Day 4: Taitung－East Coast National Scenic Area－Hualien－Yilan
You will spend the day exploring the east coast of Taiwan, known as the last unspoiled place of the island. You’ll visit some of the most impressive scenic spots along the way, including Xiaoyeliu, Sanxiantai, Shitiping, and Fanshuliao, each boasting its own distinctive geological features. At the end of the day, from Hualien to Yilan, you will experience one-way comfortable train ride. Tonight, you’ll stay at a 5-star hot-spring hotel in Jiaoxi, Yilan.
Day 5: Yilan－Taipei
On the last day of your 5-day tour in Taiwan, You will start the day with visit to “King Car Kavalan Whisky Distillery”, known worldwide for its exquisite flavors brewed from the clear water sources of the Central Mountain Range and the Xueshan Mountain Range.
