Description

Meet over 2,600 animals and 340 species at Sydney's stunning Taronga Zoo! 

With your family or friends, you'll have a great time in this zoo where the animals' well-being is a priority! You will observe more than 340 species evolving in reproductions of their natural habitat.

Along the Australian Walkabout, you will see kangaroos and koalas. In the Reptile World you will meet the komodo dragons. Along the rainforest trail you will see monkeys and elephants. You will have the opportunity to see many other animals such as sumatran tigers, gorillas, wallabies and much more! You will also see different presentations such as the seal presentation. You will also have access ti explanations from the keepers about the Capybara or the Meerkats.

Important information

  • Availability: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Location: Taronga Zoo, around 15 minutes from the centre of Sydney (the exact address will be shown on the booking voucher)
  • Departure time(s): 9:30am – 5:00pm (September to May)/9:30am – 4:30pm (June to August)
  • To take part in this activity simply present your booking voucher at the zoo entrance
  • To get to Taronga Zoo you can catch a ferry from Circular Quay ("MyFerry1" ticket, approximately AU$22 return)
  • You can also take the 100 bus from Wynyard
