Take a ferry ride across San Francisco Bay and discover the coastal town of Sausalito! 

On this ferry cruise, you'll enjoy views of the most significant sites of the San Francisco Bay Area such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz. The ferry has many great viewing points for taking photos. You'll get a lovely view of the San Francisco skyline on the crossing.

This cruise will also give you the opportunity to discover the coastal town of Sausalito in the hills of Marin County. This former fishermen's town is known for its floating houses. It boasts an array of art galleries and craft shops.

  • Availability: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Departure point:
    - departs from San Francisco: "Pier 41" ferry terminal on Fisherman's Wharf
    - departure from Sausalito: Sausalito ferry terminal
  • Times: Varies by season and day of the week, first departure is usually at 11:45 am from Pier 41 in San Francisco and 12:30 pm from Sausalito, and the last departure is at 6:45 pm from San Francisco and 7:30 pm from Sausalito; approximately 5 departures per day, every 90 minutes
  • You will need to check in ahead of time at Pier 41 to pick up your official ticket
  • You are required to select a tentative date when booking. However, please note that you can participate in your activity on the day of your choice (valid until: 1 year after purchase)
  • Please note that this is a single ticket only
  • This cruise is accessible to people with reduced mobility. However, please note that they will need to remain on the same level of the ferry due to the steps required to access the other floors
