Description

Discover San Francisco by panoramic bus and visit the famous Alcatraz Prison!

Departing from Union Square, visitors will enjoy a open topped bus tour of San Francisco that lasts about 4 hours. Your driver guide will take you along the roads of San Francisco and make several stops so you can explore by foot. There will be a view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the city's skyline from the top of the bus, but stops for these are also planned. Commentary in English will also be provided onboard the bus.

Next, visit the island of Alcatraz, one of the most famous site in San Francisco. Departing from Pier 33, visitors wil take a ferry to reach the island. Enjoy an audio guide and exploring Alcatraz at your own pace while listening to the history of the former prison.

Good to know

IMPORTANT FOR ALCATRAZ: Your ticket to Alcatraz (with transport to/from by ferry) must be picked up the day of the visit, before 9am (before the bus tour). Tickets may be picked up near Union Square in central San Francisco at the same point where the bus departs. The visit to Alcatraz will take place in the afternoon; the exact time is indicated on the ticket. It is not possible to know the time in advance, we therefore advise you not to schedule any other activity for that day

Visitors must present their passport and the voucher to pick up the ticket and board the ferry

This activity rapidly fills up during the summer (June-September), sometimes months in advance. We advise you to book as soon as possible

Duration: Approx. 1 hour 30 minutes, with the audio guide. You may take the ferry back to San Francisco whenever you wish

Ferry duration: Approx 15-20 minutes each way

The site is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day
