Day 1: Alcatraz + Aquarium of the Bay

On the first day, you'll embark on a ferry crossing to Alcatraz Island, where you'll delve into the fascinating history of "The Rock" on a 3-hour audio tour. Next, head to the San Francisco Bay Aquarium, where you can admire local marine wildlife up close and learn more about the region's aquatic ecosystems.

Day 2: Yosemite National Park tour

On your second day, a comfortable shuttle will pick you up from your San Francisco hotel for a full-day excursion to Yosemite National Park. Your professional guide will lead you through the majestic Yosemite Valley, offering enriching commentary on the history and geology of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have the opportunity to photograph iconic rock formations such as El Capitan and Half Dome, as well as admire the spectacular waterfalls of Yosemite Falls and Bridalveil Fall. After the guided tour, enjoy 3 hours of free time to explore at your own pace: hiking, biking, swimming or simply relaxing in the heart of this breathtaking nature.

Additional information for the Alcatraz visit (Day 1):
This activity quickly sells out in summer (June to September), sometimes several months in advance. We therefore invite you to book as soon as possible
Time: 10:10 am ferry
Location: Fisherman's Wharf
You'll need to present your passport and voucher to collect your ticket and board the ferry
Estimated duration of the audio tour: approximately 1h30. You are free to take the ferry back to San Francisco whenever you wish. No return schedule will be imposed
Ferry trip duration: approximately 15 to 20 minutes per trip
Audioguides are available during the tour in 10 languages: English, Spanish, Japanese, Korean, German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese and Russian
The site will be closed on Thanksgiving, 12/25 and 01/01
Information for the excursion to Yosemite National Park (Day 2):
Departure time and place: pick-up at various San Francisco hotels between 6:35 and 7:15 am, exact time and location to be reconfirmed after booking
Duration: approx. 1:30 pm, return to San Francisco expected around 8:30-9 pm
Important information: Yosemite National Park entrance fees are not included. You will need to pay them upon check-in (price and details indicated on your booking confirmation)
You will be accompanied by an English-speaking guide
You will have 3 hours of free time to explore the park at your own pace
It is customary to leave 15-20% tip to the guide
