Visit the National Gallery of Ancient Art in the Palazzo Barberini to admire paintings and works by artists from Italy and beyond, spanning several centuries!

Discover the incredible palace that houses the gallery. It was built in the 17th century by Maderno in collaboration with Gian Lorenzo Bernini, who was responsible for the remarkable spiral staircase.

  • The Gallery's reception desk closes at 6pm
  • If you visit the Gallery on a public holiday, certain areas may not be accessible due to a lack of staff. The gallery will do everything possible to uphold a normal service
  • Reduced tariff available for EU citizens aged between 18 and 25 years

  • Valid proof of ID will be requested from visitors who have purchased reduced-rate tickets
