Description

Avoid the waiting lines and visit the historic sites of the Coliseum, Palatine Hill and the Roman Forum!

With your skip-the-line ticket, explore the famous relic of Ancient Rome: the largest amphitheatre of the period, built in 72 AD. Admire the scale of the monument that would host gladiator combats and hold over 50,000 spectators.

The Coliseum gets its name from the statue the Colossus of Nero. Highly important to the ancient Roman Emperor, it was located near the entry to the Coliseum.

During your visit, you will learn about how the amphitheatre worked and functioned and the uses of its underground tunnels, including the trapdoors that were used to present exotic and ferocious animals to the public.

The Palatine Museum:
The museum is dedicated to the eponymous hill where the city was founded in 7 BC. The museum includes various collected objects like tombs from the Iron Age and decorative paintings.

The Roman Forum:
Enter the Roman Forum for a journey back in time to what was the political heart of the city for over 1,000 years. Admire the ruins of the Temple of Antoninus and Faustina, Caesar's Alter and the Arch of Titus.
