You can easily take a double-decker bus and move around Rome at your leisure for three days. You'll be able to stop at every site of your choice for a visit thanks to your included free tickets, sometimes without queuing.

Important information

PLEASE NOTE: the Colosseum, the Vatican Museums as well as the Borghese Gallery and Castel Sant'Angelo have very limited availability and are subject to very high crowds!

  • Validity: daily (depending on site)
  • Your pass is valid for 72 hours from first use. For example, if you use your pass for the first time on Monday at 4pm, your pass will be valid until Thursday at 3:59pm
  • Hours: As a guide, museums and archaeological sites are generally open from 10am to 6pm. Please check opening times beforehand
  • Important : Once you have made your reservation, you will receive a voucher with a QR code by e-mail. Once on site, to collect your Pass you will then need to hand in this voucher at one of the collection points mentioned
  • You are asked to indicate a tentative date for the use of your Pass, but be aware that the validity of your 72-hour consecutive Pass starts from the first use (cannot, however, exceed 12 months). Although purchased today, you will in fact be able to use it whenever you like during your stay
  • You have one year from the date of purchase to activate and use your pass
  • You'll need to book your time to visit the Colosseum and Borghese Gallery, online, full details to be found on your voucher. We advise you to do this before your stay, as availability goes very quickly
     
  • WARNING! We advise you to book your visit to the Colosseum, the Borghese Gallery and the Vatican Museums AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE before you leave (especially in high season - Easter, school vacations), as availability is not guaranteed and very limited. These monuments are indeed subject to very high demand! 
     
  • You will need to present your Pass Rome or Carte Omnia at the entrance to these monuments. Please make sure you have them with you, as well as your vouchers and confirmations at the time of your visit
  • You will need to present valid photo ID for at least one member of your group at most of the monuments visited
  • You will be asked to indicate a visit date for the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican Museums. You will not be able to access these without first booking a slot with our local partner
  • NOTES: If you wish to collect your passon the same day as your visit to the Vatican Museums, you must go to one of the collection points AT LEAST an hour and a half before your reserved entry time, otherwise you won't be able to enjoy the visit
  • The following monuments also require a reservation: Mamertine Prison or Carcer Tullianum, National Museum Castel Sant'Angelo
  • Please note: please note that admission to St. Peter's Basilica is no longer included
  • The Roman subway is generally open between 5:30 a.m. and 11:30 p.m. on weekdays, and until 1:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays
  • The transport card does not include travel to and from the city's airports
  • The Vatican cannot be visited on days of religious celebration
  • Backpacks, suitcases, and bulky bags are not allowed inside the Colosseum
  • The multi-stop bus pass is valid for 72 hours, this bus service operates from 9am to 6pm
  • The Rome and Vatican Pass does not give access to temporary museum exhibitions
  • Each monument and activity can only be visited/performed once
  • When visiting the Vatican, please remember that sleeveless or knee-length clothing is not permitted, nor are flip-flops, or any other garment that might be considered inappropriate
  • The Sistine Chapel is only accessible through the Vatican Museum
  • Free visits: Museums are free to all (locals and tourists) every first Sunday of the month. Thus, no reservations are possible on that day
  • People with reduced mobility and disabilities (over 74%), can enter most monuments and sites in Rome and the Vatican free of charge, as well as their companion. Please inquire about the policy of each monument you wish to visit in order to know the particularities of admission
  • The Child Pass is valid from 6 to 17 years old. It does not include the Roma Pass or the transport card, but gives access to all the attractions included in the Omnia Card. Most museums included in the Roma Pass are free for under-18s, and Roman public transport is free for children under 10. Please check the policy of each monument you wish to visit for specific admission details.
  • Due to new security regulations at the Colosseum, airport-style controls have been introduced. It is therefore possible that a queue may form when passing through security

  • The booklet accompanying the Pass is in English and Italian
  • Please note: your pass must be collected directly from the collection point indicated on your voucher
  • Once you have made your reservation, you will receive a voucher with QR code by e-mail. Once on site, to collect your Pass you will then need to hand in this voucher at one of the collection points mentioned
  • The Rome Pass includes free entry to 2 monuments. Free admission will apply to the first 2 museums visited with the pass. For example: if you book a visit to the Borghese Gallery, but decide to visit the Capitoline Museums and Castel Sant'Angelo first, you will receive free admission to the Capitoline Museums and Castel Sant'Angelo only, and will have to pay a discounted admission to the Borghese Gallery
  • The Vox City guide is in digital format, to be downloaded via a mobile app
  • The Pass comes in the form of: 1 OMNIA Card (monuments) + 1 multi-stop Bus + 1 Roma Pass (including a transport card), 1 booklet, 1 map of Rome
  • Pets not admitted
  • The Rome and Vatican Pass is non-transferable
