Visit the most beautiful places of interest in southern Italy leaving from Rome!
1st day: Head southbound from Rome along the famous Autostrada del Sole (the highway of the sun) crossing the Roman countryside and the area of Castelli Romani, renowned for its charming medieval villages.
You'll then reach Naples where you'll enjoy a panoramic tour of the city.
Your tour will continue onto Pompeii where you'll have lunch in a typical restaurant near to the archaeological site. You'll be seduced by the unusual ruins of the city which was the victim of the eruption of Vesuvius.
After the visit, you'll carry on and visit the "Costa Sorrentina" to reach Sorrento. You'll have a good dinner there (proper attire retired), then you'll spend the night there.
2nd day: You'll board for the island of Capri and weather permitting, you'll enjoy a boat ride to the splendid Blue Grotto.
Observe the reflections of the sunlight, with an impressive blue reflection.
When you return to the port, you'll board a minibus to Anacapri at 280 metres above sea level. You'll take in splendid views across the Bay of Naples.
After lunch in a local restaurant, you'll have some free time to explore Capri.
You'll then come back to Marina Grande and start your return trip back to Rome.
