You'll be picked up from your hotel in Riyadh in the morning. You'll set off for Ushaiger (or Ushaiqer) to the north-west of Riyadh, in the heart of the Nejd, a region dotted with oases. After around 2 hour's drive, you'll arrive at this historic town.
Inhabited by Bedouins for 1,500 years, Ushaiger, with its springs, olive groves and palm groves, quickly became a popular stopover for pilgrims travelling to Mecca.
Accompanied by your guide, you'll wander through its narrow streets. Admire its traditional houses, palaces and old mosques. You'll also have the opportunity to visit a museum that houses a private collection of antiques, in one of the most town's most beautiful buildings.
The tour of Ushaiger ends with a stop at a panoramic viewpoint. At lunchtime, you'll enjoy a meal in a traditional restaurant. You'll then return to Riyadh in the late afternoon and be taken back to your hotel.
