Experience a full day of adventure on Iceland’s South Coast: ATV tour on Sólheimasandur and visit to Skógafoss waterfalls!
You’ll be picked up in Reykjavik and begin your journey along Iceland’s stunning South Coast by coach. Along the way, a French audioguide will provide commentary on the volcanic landscapes and natural wonders you pass.
Your first main stop will be near Mýrdalsjökull glacier and the Katla volcano. There, you’ll gear up for an exhilarating 2-hour ATV ride (2 people per quad). You’ll cross shallow rivers and volcanic terrain until reaching the dramatic black sand plains of Sólheimasandur and the famous DC-3 plane wreck site.
After the ATV experience, the tour continues to two of Iceland’s most picturesque waterfalls. First, you’ll visit Seljalandsfoss, known for its unique walking path behind the water curtain. Then, you’ll head to the powerful Skógafoss, cascading from a 60-meter-high cliff.
At the end of the tour, you’ll return to Reykjavik in the late afternoon. This excursion combines adventure, natural beauty, and iconic landmarks for a unique way to discover the South Coast of Iceland.
