Description

Fly over the superb natural sites around Queenstown!

You will climb aboard a helicopter near Queenstown airport to begin your 30 minute flight. Firstly you will fly over Lake Wakatipu before heading to the Shotover River and Coronet Peak. Throughout your flight, you will get to see the landscape that featured in the famous Lord of the Rings trilogy!

You will then head up to the summit of the Remarkables, a superb mountain range just a stone's throw from Queenstown. From a height of 1530m (5020 ft), you will admire the magnificent landscapes stretching out in front of you. In winter it is even very likely you will land on snow! You will be able to enjoy the absolute calm as you admire the mountain views.

At the end of this extraordinary, relaxing and spectacular flight, you will return to Queenstown.
