Description

Get ready for an adrenaline rush on this unforgettable "cruise" on the Shotover River!

You will leave Queenstown and take a shuttle to the cruise departure point. Your client aboard an impressive speed boat which will take you through the canyon of the Shotover River. You will discover the fantastic landscape as you plough through the water at full speed! Your experienced pilot will bring you right up to the canyon walls for even more excitement!

At the end of your adventure, you will be driven back to the centre of Queenstown by bus.

Important information

  • Available: every day (except in exceptional circumstances)
  • Duration: around 1 and a half hours (the speed boat cruise will last around 25 minutes)
  • Departure time(s): continuous departures from 8am to 6pm. A boat will leave approximately every 15 minutes. A shuttle bus from the centre of Queenstown will also be available every 15 minutes to get to the boarding location
  • To take part in this activity simply present your voucher to the local tour operator
  • Your pilot will speak to you in English
  • It is recommended that you wear warm clothes during the cruise, as well as sunglasses
  • Video cameras and cameras may not be used during the cruise
  • For safety reasons, this activity is not available for children under the age of 5, as well as for children under 1 m (3.28 ft)
