Immerse yourself in Native American culture on a half-day excursion!
Row down the Kabir Kouba River in a canoe, then step back onto terra firma and follow your guide through the forest to a traditional Huron site. Upon arrival, you will visit the longhouse, the smokehouse, the meat drying rack and the sweat lodge. Your guide will tell you all about the rituals, practices and traditions of the Huron community.
You can then take part in an archery session. Learn to handle this weapon before practising on (non-living) targets.
At lunchtime, enjoy a delicious traditional meal. Later on, you will witness a Huron dance show. You can even join in with the dancers for the “dance of friendship”!
