Description

Take advantage of your stay in Porto to explore the city on a little train and visit the oldest Portuguese wine cellar, Real Companhia Velha!

Hop aboard a small train near Porto Cathedral and set off on visit of the city. Your audio guide will tell you all about the history of Porto and the main sights of the old city.

You'll then be dropped off for a guided tour of the oldest Portuguese winery, Real Companhia Velha, which was founded in 1756.

Visit the impressive cellars and learn all there is to know about the famous port wine and wineries thanks to a short 15-minute documentary. Get back to exploring the oldest parts of the cellars and enjoy a tasting of 2 high-quality Porto wines.

Head back to your train to complete your visit of Porto. Take a stroll through the city centre and admire the most significant monuments, including the São João National Theatre in the historic Praça da Batalha.

You will continue to Avenida dos Aliados, pass by the baroque bell tower of the Clérigos Church, the Carmo and Carmelitas twin churches, and the famous Leilo bookstore and some great cafes.

Your little train will drop you off at your departure point at the end of your tour.
