Description
Set off to discover Fremantle, near Perth on this guided tour with lunch included!
Meet your guide and small group at the visitor's center at King's Square, in Fremantle. From there, set out on this guided tour and learn more about the city.
Travel into the past, to the time of the Whadjuk, the traditional guardians of Fremantle, Perth and the Swan River. Listen to various stories on the arrival of the first explorers and colonisers, on Roundhouse Prison, where thousands were imprisoned between 1838 and 1931, and even on Yagan and Midgegooroo.
Finally, you will find out how ecology and sustainable development have always been a way of life for the local population. The guided tour includes lunch at a local restaurant before continuing on to the Fremantle prison.
