Go on an out-of-the-ordinary day out to New Norcia and the Pinnacles Desert.
You will begin your excursion in the Swan Valley, located between Perth and the Pinnacles Desert. Take in the landscapes on display before arriving at New Norcia.
In New Norcia, a town with a marked Spanish colonial architectural style, make the most of a guided tour of the town centre before seeing its major monuments, such as:
- New Norcia Abbey
- St Gertrude's College and its chapel
- The museum and art gallery
- The stalls, where you can pick up some local products
You will then share a typically Australian picnic before a short break at Western Wildflower Farm, located at Coomberdale, which highlights one of the region’s specialities; dried flowers.
You will then hit the road again and, after a stop at Cervantes, where you can paddle in the Indian Ocean, you will arrive at the spectacular Pinnacles Desert, located in the heart of Namburg National Park. This arid, vast and apparently lifeless region seems as though it is only inhabited by strange stalagmites sticking out from the sand. You will be taken back to your hotel at the end of the evening.
