You'll then be directed to the temporary exhibitions, which tackle a variety of September 11-related themes, such as the reconstruction of the site and the global repercussions of the attack. These exhibitions are regularly renewed to offer a constantly up-to-date perspective on this landmark event in contemporary history.
During your visit, you'll also have the opportunity to discover the 9/11 Foundation, a space of recollection dedicated to the victims and their families. You'll then enjoy a tour of the museum's impressive structure, built largely underground, where you'll discover the foundations of the Twin Towers and large-scale artifacts, such as some of the collapsed metal structures and damaged emergency vehicles.
Finally, you'll end your tour at the 9/11 Memorial outside the museum. Comprising two pools reflecting the footprints of the Twin Towers, this memorial will offer you a peaceful space to contemplate and honor the memory of the victims.
