Description

Discover the 9/11 Museum in New York and immerse yourself in the moving story of 9/11 events!

The 9/11 Museum, or 9/11 Memorial and Museum, pays tribute to the victims of the 2001 attacks. Through its rooms and exhibitions, you'll have the opportunity to discover the testimonies of survivors, rescue workers and residents affected by this tragedy. Their insights will help you better understand this tragic event and feel its current impact on New York City, but also on the entire international community.

Your visit will begin with an exploration of the permanent exhibits documenting the events of September 11 and their impact. You'll discover personal objects, poignant testimonies and visual and sound archives that will immerse you in the context of that tragic day.

You'll then be directed to the temporary exhibitions, which tackle a variety of September 11-related themes, such as the reconstruction of the site and the global repercussions of the attack. These exhibitions are regularly renewed to offer a constantly up-to-date perspective on this landmark event in contemporary history.

During your visit, you'll also have the opportunity to discover the 9/11 Foundation, a space of recollection dedicated to the victims and their families. This place will allow you to pay tribute to those who lost their lives in the attacks and to meditate on the resilience and solidarity that followed this tragedy.

You'll then enjoy a tour of the museum's impressive structure, built largely underground, where you'll discover the foundations of the Twin Towers and large-scale artifacts, such as some of the collapsed metal structures and damaged emergency vehicles.

Finally, you'll end your tour at the 9/11 Memorial outside the museum. Comprising two pools reflecting the footprints of the Twin Towers, this memorial will offer you a peaceful space to contemplate and honor the memory of the victims.

Throughout your visit, you can use an audioguide available in several languages to enrich your experience and deepen your knowledge of the events and exhibits on display.
