Discover the city of Philadelphia and a village in Pennsylvania's Amish territory on a day trip from New York!
- Visit Philadelphia
On this day trip, you'll leave New York behind for your first destination: Philadelphia. Upon arrival, you'll embark on a panoramic bus tour that will take you past historic landmarks such as Constitution Hall and the famous Liberty Bell, a bell symbolizing American independence.
You'll also visit the "Rocky Steps" of the Museum of Arts, immortalized in the film "Rocky". A statue of the boxer now stands where Rocky Balboa used to train!
- Visit an Amish village and ride in a horse-drawn carriage
You'll then travel to Lancaster, in the heart of Amish territory. You'll take a horse-drawn carriage to an Amish village to discover their culture and customs. Your guide will explain their way of life, with no access to modern technology, electricity, running water or telephone!
You'll return to New York in the early evening.
A little bonus: this activity is eco-friendly, with a tree planted for every traveler!
