Description

Enjoy a guided visit of the Houmas House plantation and discover the history behind a typical building in Lousiane!

You will leave from New-Orleans and head for the Houmas House plantation for a visit with your guide.

You will discover a popular site, located between New-Orleans and Baton Rouge, in front of Mississippi. You will admire the 19th century architecture of the building and walk through the rooms to discover the antiques and artworks dating back to 1830 as well as a 3-story-high spiral staircase.

You will walk through the alleys in the 15 hectares gardens, originally used for sugar cane cultivation.

You will then head back to New-Orleans at 3:30p.m.
