Description

See the key spots of Oman: Bimmah Sinkhole, Wadi Shab, Tiwi!

Early in the morning, hit the road with your local guide, and drive through beautiful mountain and desert landscapes. You will pass by the coastal city of Quriyat, having headed to Wadi Shab. You will then follow your guide by foot to a sinkhole full of crystal clear water. The plan: relax, walk or swim.

In Wadi Shab, you will enjoy a lunch before leaving again for Mascate. On your way back, you will head along the coast and stop at the Bama Sinkhole, or "the Sinkhole of Bimah". You will be able to dive in and swim in the turquoise waters of the sinkhole.

Important information

  • Availability: Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
  • Departure time and location: between 8am and 9am at your hotel in Muscat, exact time will be confirmed after your booking
  • Language: an English speaking guide and French, German, Spanish or Italian audioguides
     
  • You will be dropped off at the same spot you were picked up at
  • The walk is quite long, it is recommended that children be at least 5 years old to participate to the excursion
  • Smoking is not permitted in the vehicles
  • If you want to take pictures of local inhabitants, you must ask for their permission
  • Out of respect for the local culture, it is forbidden to take pictures of Omani women
  • Don't forget your bathing suit !
