Take advantage of your stay in Quebec to try ice climbing!

You will meet your guide at the Mont-Tremblant activity centre, located between Montreal and Ottawa, less than 2 hours away. You will equip yourself with crampons, ice axes and helmet, and set off to conquer the ice rocks.

With the sound advice of your guide, you have a go at climbing the rocks. Planting your ice axes and crampons in the ice, you'll gradually climb the cliffs. 

Ice climbing is a fun, unusual and sporty activity, ideal for a trip to Quebec in winter! Take a deep breath of fresh air in the middle of the snowy mountains and enjoy the idyllic setting.

  • Seasonal activity: mid-December to mid-March only
  • Availability (except under exceptional circumstances):
    - every day from mid-December to early January
    - Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays from January to March
  • Duration: 3 hours, 1 hour 30 for groups of more than 8 people
  • Location:  The Mont-Tremblant Activity Centre
  • A minimum of 2 participants is required for the activity
  • The minimum age to participate in the activity is 8 years old. Children under 13 years of age must be accompanied by a person over 13 years of age
  • The activity is not suitable for pregnant women
  • The activity is subject to weather conditions. In the event of bad weather, your activity may be cancelled or postponed.
  • You must bring your own ski boots (hard ski boots, not après-ski) (or hire some on-site), and wear suitable clothing. The rest of the equipment (helmet, ice axes and crampons) are provided
  • When it is very cold, it is advisable to opt for the early afternoon schedule
