Description

Discover the Colorado river through a rafting experience!

You will join your guide in the center of town of Moab. You will be driven up to the Colorado river. After a quick brief, you will be equiped and board your rafting boat.

You will then go rafting on one of the most famous rivers in the United States. You will make the most of the calm waters to peacefully sail and discover the local landscapes, typical of Ouest-America. You will admire the cliffs and red rock canyons. You will even be able to see the Arches National Park and the La Sal mountains from afar. You will alternate with more agitated passages to give you a more thrilling experience and refresh yourself.

Make your experience in the american cayons last longer and enjoy a barbecued lunch by choosing a full-day trip.

During the reservation, you will be asked to choose amongst the following options:

  • Morning trip without lunch: departure at 8:15a.m., 4H30 long tour including transport, about 3H of rafting (11km), from Hitlle Bottom to Sorrel River Ranch
  • Afternoon trip with lunch: departure at 11a.m., 5H long tour including transport, about 4H of rafting (12km), from Sorrel River Ranch to Salt Wash Rapids
  • Full day with lunch: departure at 8:15a.m., 8H long tour including transport, about 6H30 of rafting (22km), from Hittle Bottom to Salt Wash Rapids

Good to know

  • Seasonal activity: from march to october only
  • Availability: Mondays to Saturdays (apart from exceptions)
  • Options:
    • Morning trip without lunch: departure at 8:15a.m., about 4H30 long
    • Afternoon trip with lunch: departure at 11a.m., about 5H long
    • Full day: departure at 8:15a.m., about 8H long
  • Departure location: Maob centerr of town
  • You can buy all 10 spots to have your own raft
  • Children under the age of 5 can not participate in this activity (minimal weight of 22.75kg)
  • We recommend that you bring a swimming costume, clothes and shoes adapted for rafting
