Discover the English Caribbean island that is home to picturesque villages: Sainte-Lucie!
Leaving from Le Marin, the catamaran will head south from Martinique to cross the Sainte-Lucie channel. Sainte-Lucie is an English island that has been independent since 1978. The boat will drop anchor in the bay of the capital, Castries.
Once on land, visitors have a chance to explore the market stalls that are filled with fruits, vegetables, and local artisanal products. Once everyone has returned to the catamaran, the captain will set a course for the south, stopping at Marigot Bay village. The village is known as a safe spot when hurricanes pass through, but it is also known for being home to many luxury yachts.
Go for a swim near the sand shoals, and enjoy traditional lunch served in a restaurant that is located right on the water. Following lunch, head for Pigeon Island, a protected nature reserve, before heading back to Martinique. The boat is expected to return around 6pm.
