After meeting your guide in Marseille, you'll set off by minivan towards the Alpilles massif. You'll make your first stop at the medieval village of Les Baux-de-Provence, perched on a rocky spur with stunning views over the valley.
You'll then continue on to the Pont du Gard, one of the best-preserved remains of the Roman aqueduct, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (museum admission not included).
Your tour continues to the city of Avignon. You'll skirt the banks of the Rhône before entering this historic city, once the capital of the popes. You'll see the famous Pont Saint-Bénézet, immortalized in the song "Sur le Pont d'Avignon", and admire the Palais des Papes, the largest Gothic palace in Europe (entrance to the Palais not included).
After Avignon, you'll take the road towards Châteauneuf-du-Pape, famous for its vineyards. You'll discover this wine village and its landscapes dominated by the medieval castle and share a wine tasting.
