Set off on an adventurous private tour of Mount Pinatubo, featuring a 4x4 ride and a hike to the crater!
Your tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Manila around 2am to begin your expedition to Mount Pinatubo, located in Tarlac province. A stop is made en route for a quick breakfast before arriving at the check-in desk at around 5am.
You'll then climb aboard an all-terrain 4x4 to traverse the lunar landscapes of Crow Valley Canyon, a spectacular environment marked by ancient volcanic ash flows. You'll cross rivers and lahar mountains, enjoying a unique view at sunrise.
After around 2 hours of 4x4 driving, you'll begin a hike of around 6 to 7 kilometers to the top of the volcano. Along the way, you'll cross rivers and valleys sculpted by past eruptions before reaching the crystal-clear crater lake, nestled in the heart of Mount Pinatubo's caldera. You'll have free time to enjoy the scenery and take photos.
At around 10am, you'll begin the descent to meet up with your 4x4, then head back to the check-in desk where you can freshen up. A stop for lunch is planned on the way back to Manila, where you'll arrive at your hotel around 4pm.
