Explore Mdina, a medieval fortified city, named the silent city, during a day trip or a half-day trip!
You will start your day in the centre of Malta, right in the middle of Mdina's medieval citadel.
You will follow the winding narrow streets dating back to the medieval era, heading to impressive bastions, where you will be able to admire an amazing panoramic view of the island.
On the way, you will discover different architectural styles, including siculo-norman palaces and other baroque-style buildings.
You will head out of Mdina through the Greeks Gate, and then visit the catacombs of the first christians in Rabat, before going to the Dingli cliffs.
After lunch, (only included for the visits starting at 8am), you will go to the San Anton botanical garden, situated near the presidential palace, which you 'll have time to admire from the outside.
Should you opt for a visit starting at 8am, you will make a stopover in Ta 'Qali, a centre for craftspeople. Lastly, you'll be astonished by the majestic dome on Mosta church, one of the largest in Europe.
