Description

Accompanied by your guide, discover Tanger on this day trip departing from the Costa del Sol and visit the town in a small group.

Make the most of your trip to Spain and discover Tanger, a town in Northern Morocco, which was a great source of inspiration for various artists. You will also be able to admire the sea views where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet.

Departing from the Costa del Sol, board a ferry and make your way towards the Strait of Gibraltar. When you arrive at Tanger, visit the souk on foot and discover the large variety of regional products on offer. Visit the old town of Medina and its narrow streets, as well as the Kasbah, the famous fortress built in the 15th century. You will also be able to see the snake charmers.

Before continuing your visit, take a break and try some local foods during lunch in a traditional Moroccan restaurant.

You will then visit an Arab market and discover the region’s different carpets and artisan products. You will then enjoy a bus tour of the coast, The Avenue Mohamed V, The Severo Ochoa Public Institute, the Portuguese, American, Italian and Spanish quarters and the Royal Palace.

Also discover the Roman Punic necropolis and enjoy a view of the Strait of Gibraltar. After a short stop in Cap Spartel, try some different traditional Moroccan teas.

Then go to The Caves of Hercules and stop at the Moroccan Dunes where you will be able to enjoy a camel ride (not included), before returning to the Costa del Sol.

*Please note, the Caves of Hercules are closed to the public for renovation work until further notice.
