You'll enjoy a transfer from your accommodation in Funchal or Caniço and set off to discover as many viewpoints as possible to appreciate the panoramas that Madeira and its east coast have to offer. Your first stop will be Machico, the island's second-largest town, famous for its Praia de Machico beach and characteristic town centre. You will continue to the Belvedere de Portela from where you can enjoy a panoramic view of Eagle Rock. You will continue your excursion with a visit to a cane sugar factory, then enjoy a lunch break (lunch not included in the price). You will then head to Santana and discover traditional thatched houses with straw roofs. Finally, you'll head to the Ribeiro Frio viewpoint to observe Madeira's highest peaks, including the Pico do Arieiro which rises to 1818 metres above sea level. You will be taken back to your accommodation after an excursion around Madeira's highest summits.
