You'll first reach Windsor Castle. You'll freely explore (depending on option) the state apartments, adorned with paintings by great artists such as Rembrandt and Rubens, as well as St. George's Chapel, burial place of ten monarchs, including Queen Elizabeth II. You'll then head to the mythical site of Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Who could have hoisted these 40-ton stones 5000 years ago? And why? Historians and archaeologists have yet to agree. You'll be able to make up your own mind once you're there, as you freely explore the site and the visitors' center, with its 250 archaeological artefacts (depending on option).
Finally, you'll discover the Salisbury Cathedral, built over 800 years ago (depending on option). On arrival, a specialist guide will welcome you and give you some introductory information before your self-guided tour. You'll be able to see the oldest mechanical clock still in operation and the Magna Carta.
