Description

The Phantom of the Opera musical is based on the show by Gaston Leroux, that recounts the story of events that occured at the Garnier Opera in Paris.

  • A summary of the musical:

In the sumptuous Garnier Opera house, a mysterious masked figure, nicknamed the Phantom, haunts the corridors backstage. He acts in mysterious ways, eventually forcing the Opera's diva to stop acting. A gorgeous actress called Christine replaces her. The Phantom immediately falls in love with her but realises her heart belongs to another man.

This brilliant musical is shown at the prestigious Her Majesty's Theatre, where the show was first performed in 1986.
