Description

From Queen Mary to Queen Victoria, and Princess Margaret to Princess Diana, generations of royal ladies have fashioned the majestic Palace of Kensington and its prestigious gardens.

Purchased in 1689, the house was transformed into a royal residence, and has been home to Queen Anne, George I and George II amongst other royal figures, and is now home to William and Kate.

Explore the Palace and learn about the site's history as well as its inhabitants. Admire its beautiful architecture and hear fascinating stories about the royal family. Kensington Palace conceals numerous wonders, including:

  • The Cupola room
  • The King's Gallery
  • Queen Victoria's room
  • Mary of Modena's bed

Take a stroll around the luscious gardens that surround the Palace.

During your visit, why not stop off at The Orangery restaurant within the grounds of the Palace for some food, a drink or to enjoy afternoon tea?
