Set off to discover London through the real locations that inspired the magical world of Harry Potter!
You will meet your guide at Southwark View Point to begin your adventure. At the start of the tour, you will be sorted into a Hogwarts House and take part in an interactive quiz. You will test your knowledge while learning fun facts about the books, the films, and their creation.
You will then begin your walk through central London. You will follow in the footsteps of your favourite wizards as you pass the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron and visit the real Diagon Alley where Harry buys his first wand. You will also see the bridge featured in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and explore alleyways that inspired Knockturn Alley. Your guide will explain the connection between these real sites and the fictional world created by J.K. Rowling.
The tour will continue past several major London landmarks: Southwark Cathedral, Borough Market, The Golden Hinde, Winchester Palace, The Clink Prison Museum, Shakespeare’s Globe and the Millennium Bridge. You will then walk past Daniel Radcliffe’s former school, the Sherlock Holmes Pub, Great Scotland Yard, Gringotts Wizarding Bank, and the world’s smallest police station. The tour will end at Trafalgar Square and finally at the Palace Theatre, home to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.
A short London Underground journey within Zone 1 will be required during the tour. You must have a valid travel card before starting. Your guide will accompany you during the transfer and introduce the next stops on the itinerary.
Throughout the activity, you will discover the locations that inspired the films and atmosphere of the saga. You will also enjoy photo stops and opportunities to ask questions.
