Explore Leeds castle, Canterbury, Dover and the Greenwich Peninsula on a day trip from London!
You'll first reach Leeds Castle. Built on two islands in the middle of a lake, the castle has been home to many kings and queens, including Henri VIII. You'll have the opportunity to take part in a private tour with your group before the castle opens to the public, and will have the chance to discover the chapel, galleries, courtyards and banqueting hall in particular.
You'll then drive through the town of Dover, known for its port, 12th-century château and white cliffs. Depending on traffic conditions in or near Dover, you'll have the opportunity to catch a glimpse of these famous white cliffs and enjoy the view.
You will then travel to Canterbury, the center of one of Europe's most important medieval pilgrimages, and can visit its cathedral (optional), famous since the murder of Thomas Beckett in 1170.
You'll continue your excursion to Greenwich, a town famous for its maritime attractions. You'll be able to admire the Cutty Sark, the fastest sailing ship of its time.
Finally, your excursion will end with a cruise on the River Thames, where you can enjoy panoramic views of London monuments such as the Tower of London, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, etc.
