Take a step back in time and explore London's haunted streets !
On board a coach, you'll pass through the capital's most sinister streets and listen to your guide's commentary and anecdotes. You'll pass Westminster Abbey and Banqueting House, where Charles I was executed. You'll also discover Tower Hill, where executioners presented freshly severed heads to the crowds, and Old Bailey, former site of public hangings (entrances not included).
You'll then pass the London Royal Hospital where the Elephant Man lived and your guide will tell you the story of Mrs Lovett and her famous pies, her neighbor the butcher barber, and other tales.
Then step off the coach for a stroll through Smithfield Market and its cobbled streets, where you can learn more about 19th-century body snatchers. Shiver as you hear the story of the ghost of Cock Lane who has haunted these streets for 250 years.
As the night wears on, you'll head to the East End, a hotbed of vice and crime in 19th-century London. You'll follow in the footsteps of Jack the Ripper, who struck the city with terror in 1888.
The tour will end at the Sherlock Holmes pub. Surrounded by a rich collection of objects reminiscent of the famous detective, you'll be able to grab a bite to eat or a drink (extra charge, at your own expense).
