There’s nothing like a cruise on the River Mersey to enjoy the view of the Liverpool Docks, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the rich history of this merchant port thanks to the on-board commentary and be enchanted by the views of the city.

Step aboard the dazzle camouflage boat, the Snowdrop, for a cruise that will be packed with anecdotes on the role of the River Mersey in the First World War.

And, you can’t think about Liverpool without thinking about the Beatles. Dive into the universe of the legendary group by visiting the museum dedicated to them.

  • The ferries stop at Liverpool Pier Head (departure point), Seacombe and Woodside
  • You are free to get off the ferry and get back on wherever you want, as long as you do not do more than one complete cruise
  • Information leaflets are available on board the ferries in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Japanese
  • The cruise on board the dazzle camouflaged boat Snowdrop is available most days, but the schedule is subject to change
  • The Beatles Story is split over two sites, Albert Dock and Pier Head. A shuttle bus will take you between the two. The journey takes about 5 minutes. You can also get between the two sites on foot (10 mins walking approx.)
  • The museum is accessible for people with reduced mobility and with sight or hearing problems
