Escape Lisbon for a day to discover Sintra, visit the Pena National Palace (ticket included!) and discover the beaches of Cascais and Estoril!
Leaving Lisbon, you'll take the road towards Mount Sintra, at the summit of which stands the Palacio Nacional de Pena. A must-see when visiting the Lisbon region, this palace is renowned for its fairytale architecture and flamboyant colors. You'll visit the Palais National de Pena at your own pace, admiring the panoramic view over the 200-hectare park.
You'll then make your way to the historic center of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll have free time to wander the cobbled streets and enjoy lunch. We suggest you try the famous Queijadas and Travesseiros desserts!
After lunch, you'll take the bus to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point of the continent. You'll follow the Atlantic coast to Cascais, passing the beaches of Guincho and Boca do Inferno.
Enjoy a guided bus tour of Cascais and Estoril, two ancient fishing villages, and free time. You'll then be driven back to Lisbon after a day of sightseeing.
