Description

Enjoy a small-group excursion from Las Vegas to discover the Grand Canyon West and Hoover Dam!

Departing from your hotel, you'll be pick-up by a 14-passenger full-confort minibus. You'll travel to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon for an unforgettable experience. First you'll visit a magnificent forest of Joshua trees that are almost a thousand years old. You'll then stop at Eagle Point and Guano Point. You'll have 3 hours of free time on site to take in the sights. In particular, you'll have access to the Skywalk footbridge (tickets on sale on site). You can also book a helicopter flight (see "Options") into the heart of the Grand Canyon. The helicopter will drop you off at the bottom of the canyon, where you'll explore for around 20 minutes. 

Enjoy lunch at the Grand Canyon before heading back to Las Vegas and the famous Hoover Dam. From the top of the dam, you'll enjoy an impressive view of Lake Mead, one of the world's largest man-made lakes. You'll also admire the golden-red cliffs of the Colorado River Gorge. From the banks, you can observe the immensity of the dam and take your best souvenir photos, before heading back to Las Vegas.

Good to know

  • Availability: everyday (besides exceptional dates)
  • Departure time: Tour starts at 7am. A shuttle will collect you from your hotel between 6am and 7am, exact time will be reconfirmed after booking
     
  • Depending on the number of participants, you will travel in a luxury 4x4 with 6 other passengers or in a minibus with 12 or 13 passengers. All vehicles are well-equipped (HD TV, reclining seats, cushions and covers, large windows etc.) and very comfortable.
  • Your guide is extremely well-informed about the region and its history, so don't hesitate to ask questions!
  • It is recommended that you wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
  • For reasons of comfort and weight distribution on board the helicopter, anyone booking the option 'Trip with helicopter flight' and weighing over 113.5 kg (250lbs) will have to pay a supplementary fee of $75 (this fee is payable at your destination and is out of our jurisdiction)
  • The trip may be cancelled in the case of very poor weather conditions. In this instance a  refund will be given.
  • For lunch, you will be able to choose from different sub options: turkey, ham, or veggie
